Our story
Three women, one shared vision
Gather & Grow was founded by Julie Taylor, Jo Aramayo and Rachel Jessey, with a simple belief: women deserve somewhere to come together, learn and feel supported.
Each of us brought different knowledge and experiences. What united us was a wish to make trustworthy health information more accessible, alongside opportunities to pause and make time for ourselves.
As our individual journeys have evolved, Jo and Rachel have chosen to focus on growing their own businesses: Willow Wood Retreats and BeNourished.
I’m incredibly grateful for the journey we shared and the foundations we created together. Both will always be part of Gather & Grow’s story, and I wish them every success and happiness as their own paths continue to flourish.
Hello, I’m Julie
I’m an NMC Registered Nurse and one of Gather & Grow’s original founders. I’m delighted to be continuing this journey, bringing my nursing experience and passion for women’s health to its next chapter.
My NHS background includes neurology and bladder, bowel and pelvic floor health. Alongside training in counselling and life coaching, this has shaped my approach to the connections between physical, emotional and mental wellbeing. I’m also continuing my education with the British Menopause Society, deepening my knowledge of menopause and women’s health.
I’ve come to appreciate how much it matters to feel listened to — especially when your body is changing and you’re trying to make sense of what you need.
My hope is that Gather & Grow feels like somewhere you can ask questions, share experiences or simply take a moment for yourself.
Looking ahead
I’m creating an online membership that brings health education and therapeutic wellbeing practices together, with space for women to support one another. I also look forward to offering future retreats and in-person experiences.
As Gather & Grow evolves, the reason it began remains close to my heart: helping women feel informed, connected and less alone.
